Wing Chun Instructor Bio:

I began training in martial arts at 8 years old, attending a judo club. Later moving on to karate, Judo, boxing and mixed martial arts.

After being bullied at school I sought some form of functional self defence, first turning to boxing, then mixed martial arts and finally a Wing Chun club at my school. This was the first time I had seen a system that had a level of complexity, logic and effectiveness in application, which compelled me to continue. Since then I have remained on the Wing Chun path culminating in the Combat WingChun UK Association.

Our aim has been to create a modern system that is built on developing speed, power and co-ordination through a logical and clearly structured syllabus whilst still retaining the core principles and ideas of Wing Chun Kung Fu.

Our goal has been to develop a system for self-defence and combat with a mission to teach anyone who wants to learn, regardless of background, diversity, religion, race, sex or age and give people the skills to develop themselves physically and mentally.
